This is a 2 day conference – Friday, May 3 from 6:30-10pm and Saturday, May 4 from 8:30am to 1:30pm. The video conference is a DVD recording of a “live” weekend marriage conference with Emerson and Sarah Eggerichs. You will receive a notebook to use while watching the videos.
What Is Love & Respect?
We believe love best motivates a woman and respect most powerfully motivates a man. Research reveals that during marital conflict a husband most often reacts when feeling disrespected and a wife reacts when feeling unloved. We asked 7,000 people this question: when you are in a conflict with your spouse or significant other, do you feel unloved or disrespected? 83% of the men said “disrespected.” 72% of the women said, “unloved.” Though we all need love and respect equally, the felt need differs during conflict, and this difference is as different as pink is from blue!
Dr. Emerson Eggerichs is an internationally known public speaker on the topic of male-female relationships. Based on over three decades of counseling as well as scientific and biblical research, Dr. Eggerichs and his wife Sarah developed the Love and Respect Conference which they present to audiences around the country.
What Can I expect to learn at this conference?
At this video conference you will receive three insights that have revolutionized thousands of marriages. Insight #1. You will discover a simple truth hidden in plain sight that explains why your spouse negatively reacts to you, and it differs from why you negatively react to your spouse! Typically, you both see the other as childish when negatively reacting because you wouldn't react that way! What is that simple truth? Insight #2. The key to motivating your spouse is meeting your spouse's deepest felt need during conflict, which differs from your deepest felt need during conflict! Commonly, you both overlook the other's felt need during conflict because you feel the other ought not to feel that way! What is that deepest need? Insight #3. In all marriages there are seasons in which one spouse is less responsive to the other, for any number of reasons. What can motivate you during that season when your spouse is not motivating you?
How Much Does It Cost?
If you register before April 22, the conference is only $15 per person (plus an online fee). This is an exceptional value for the two days of material and a conference notebook. The price increases to $20 per person (plus an online fee) at noon on April 22 until the day of the conference.
